Blaming Mayawati government for stagnation and non development in Uttar Pradesh, Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has promised that Congress (I) will transform UP into a progressive state within 5 years. In another 5 years UP will become No. 1 state in the country. Rahul Gandhi said it is all possible. People of UP are committed, hard working and talented. The Congress (I) leader said why youth of the state has to go to other states like Delhi, Haryana and Maharashtra is because Mayawati government has failed to undertake development work in the state. As a result there are no employment opportunities in the state. Unemployment has reached alarming situation. This can not be allowed to go on for ever. Rahul Gandhi said all the previous governments during the last 20 years have been working for their personal and party interests rather than for the development of the state. Rahul Gandhi urged the people to vote for Congress (I) this time to transform the UP into a progressive state.
