Rahul Gandhi attracts good crowd in his rallies in Uttar Pradesh

Huge attendance is the speciality and a boost to the Congress in the rallies by the Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi as a part of his five-day U.P tour.
A villager from Kazipura area of the district Bahraich, Noor Ahmad said, “Inflation is the biggest problem. The poor in politics (political structure) are in problem. Both of them said they will support whoever works in their interest and that Rahul Gandhi seemed to be doing all the good things and so they expect a lot from him.
When asked, Veer Saran, a local shopkeeper at Gaind Ground in Bahraich told us how angry he was over the ruling Mayawati government. “This government is doing nothing. She’s just building parks in Lucknow. She’s not doing anything for the common man. You see, the roads are so bad.”
Dinesh Kumar Vishkarma, a resident of Jhala Gram Sabha, Vidhan Sabha Balha in Bahraich told that there are a lot of problems and not some few specific ones. “There are so many problems, no specific ones. I won’t talk about anything in particular. Once the Congress comes to power here, everything will be changed. I support Congress and I have hope in it.”
From the Far East city of Kolkata in West Bengal, an old gentleman named Sadhu Singh was amongst attendees. 80 years old Singh came for some personal reason in the area but on knowing that Rahul Gandhi is going to address a workers’ rally here, he sat in the killing heat to listen to him. He is an ex-Congress worker and according to him everything in India has been done by the Congress.
“It was a vacant home when the British went back after plundering our country. It was the Congress which filled it with all the resources. It developed the country so much. Who guided India when there was no stature of India in the world, when there was nothing to eat? People, the Congress has family dynasty.” said Singh.
Another Congress worker from Gokulpur in Bahraich was very confident of Congress’ and Rahul Gandhi’s abilities. “I think and I know Congress will do the right work. I’m not getting pension. What can I do? No body does anything. And, I’m 70 years old, how much will I remember.”
