UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi in her address said, “The country derives its strength and resilience from its variety and from its diversity. I am happy that the state Government was successful in bringing some of the militant groups to the negotiation table and I hope more will reject the path of violence because as all know problems and issues can only be resolved through dialogue and discussions. I hope the people especially the youth will give up the path of crime and come to the main stream and participate in the democratic processes. And I believe that is the only way to have a better way for Manipur”.
