Priyanka Gandhi Vadra while campaigning in Raebareli for the ongoing Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections urged the people to support Congress and elect Congress candidates in the state for bringing back progress in U.P. She also alleged that the 22 years misrule by the non-Congress governments in the state has taken the state backward.
Reminding the people about the crucial assembly elections in U.P, Priyanka Gandhi said, “You are going to face the most important election this time which will decide your future and the development of your state. You will have to cast your votes intelligently to ensure the bright future of your children and the youth in Uttar Pradesh”.
Referring to the state of affairs in Raebareli, she added, “You have seen two types of politics in your region. You have experienced the politics of your M.P Sonia Ji, which is based on devotion and commitment. On the other side you have witnessed the politics of your MLA, which negates you and victimizes you. You allowed this negative politics to continue in your state for quite a long time, which never listened to you or found a solution to your issues”.
