Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who has been in charge of the Congress campaign in Amethi and Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday expressed confidence that her party is winning all seats from Amethi, in the ongoing state assembly elections.
"We have received good reports from Amethi and we are hopeful of getting all the three seats," Priyanka Gandhi told during an informal media chat.
When asked about the incident about her brother and party general secretary Rahul Gandhi's tearing a piece of paper symbolising the election manifesto of the Samajwadi Party (SP), Priyanka Gandhi said “to the best of my knowledge, it was not the election manifesto”.
Priyanka Gandhi added that in last 22 years, the people in Uttar Pradesh have given chance to different political parties, but the people got nothing in return except anarchy and corruption.
"People are fed up of fake promises; they want work and development. Go and ask people what they want. The public understands who all make false promises," said Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
"If I would have known when is he going to marry, then I would have told you? How would I know? Every sister wants his brother to get married soon," said Priyanka ojn a question about Rahul Gandhi’s marriage.
