Stressing on the need for development in UP during his campaign for Assembly elections scheduled for February 2012, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi said the world will know the real strength of India only when people of Uttar Pradesh are awakened and are firmly on the path of development. India’s real strength is still in sleep. The day you are awakened the world will know the real power of India. Highlighting that he is committed to bring positive change in the Uttar Pradesh, the Congress (I) General Secretary said, “My mission will not conclude with the elections. My mission will begin on the day the election process is over.” Rahul Gandhi assured the people that Congress (I), if voted to power, would be an inclusive government and it will not be a government of any particular caste or religion. Development of the UP state as a whole is our mission, said Congress (I) leader.
