Blaming the Uttar Pradesh past and present governments like BJP, SP and BSP for having failed to provide good governance and development, people have now begun to realize that Congress (I) is the only alternative for people of the state. BJP in the state is on a ventilator and will die its natural death in coming Assembly elections. SP sans without Amar Singh, Amitabh Bachan and Raj Babbar will not cut ice with the people. The present BSP government of Mayawati has been disgraced with corruption and crime. Other political parties in the state are already talking that Mayawati might be jailed for graft after the Assembly elections. A CBI case of possession of assets disproportionate to her known sources of income is already pending against her. Although CBI is ready to file the charge sheet against her, she has managed to get stay from the Supreme Court. People believe that Congress (I) has experience, visionary plans and above all it is a time tested party.
