AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi landed went on a tour of various villages in U.P including the Naxal-affected Chandauli and Mirzapur districts of eastern UP. His visit was without any notice.
Rahul Gandhi asked people regarding their problems. People complained that the state Government is not doing anything for the common man. Rahul Gandhi also asked why people from U.P migrates to other places for want of search. Because other states is developing and cares for the people but Uttar Pradesh not. Rahul Gandhi held chaupals and interacted with the villagers, asking them about their problems, implementation of Centrally funded schemes, especially MGNREGA and whether payments were made regularly to workers.
